PRESENTATION DESCRIPTIONS
I have four basic presentations which can be tailored to meet your organization’s needs:
1) “Ethics, Leadership and a Moral Perspective on Safety”: I currently deliver this presentation at the U.S. Navy School of Aviation Safety. I speak to newly designated Navy, Marine and Coast Guard squadron Commanding Officers or Executive Officers. I integrate ethics and safety when talking about their leadership role in creating an ethical culture as well as a safety culture. This presentation is also delivered to mid and junior level officers.
2)“Ethics, Character and a Moral Perspective on Leadership”: This is a one hour (nominal) keynote presentation which is ideal for conferences, offsites, team-building meetings, etc. It can set a tone for your entire meeting or conference. It also can serve as a refresher as part of a leadership and management development curriculum.
3) “Ethical Leadership: Principle-Based Decision Making”: This is a 3 – 4 hour interactive workshop designed for managers and focused on ethical decision making, leadership and the key role of managers in creating an ethical workplace environment. This is ideally suited for Defense Industry companies.
4) “Fear, Trust and Ethical Leadership”: This is a one and one-half hour presentation for managers which examines the impact of fear on ethical decision making, trust, and productivity.
